Found this board through rabbitsonline.net. I lurk there mostly, because there's really nothing I can add that somebody else knows more about. In any case, I'm actually going to toys r us on Saturday to buy some jumps... 40% off in the U.S. I believe. They have some weaves and chutes too if anybody is interested. Cinnamon is already harness trained, so hopefully starting won't be that hard. Looking forward to learning from people here. I was also going to join 4H and maybe team up with somebody there, but it appears that they don't want me. Is there a list of clubs somewhere or should I just message random people on facebook asking if they want to work with Cinnamon and me over the summer. ;D Kidding about the last part, but I'm hoping to find a partner or a mentor, but that seems like a long shot considering the largest rabbit rescue group in NJ asked me if rabbit hopping was animal abuse.

I'm a 4-H leader, don't quit looking. Call you local Extension Office and ask for any 4-H groups accepting new members. My group just began hopping and it's a blast......good luck

Oh they have jumps at Toys R Us!? Rabbit Hopping def. isn't animal abuse. Rabbits do it because they want to. We can't really force them to jump
