Hello, I want to have a training show one day with my sister and friends, but I don't really know how I would put one on, and how to judge the rabbits' hopping. How would I judge them? And how should I put on a little training show?
Thanks, Emily

Just ask from your sister and friends would they like to enter a little show of yours. Discuss about the date and you will surely have someone there.
Judging is pretty easy. If rabbit drops a barrier, it gets fault points (depending on how many barriers did it drop) If every rabbit dropped a different amount of barriers, the winner is who has least fault points. If there are like "two winners" you need to watch who was faster to commit the line.
Rabbit gets a fault point if: - It jumps a wrong jump - It runs away from the line - It drops a barrier
Or that's how it is here, in Finland.

When I hold my little training shows, I just organise it so that my friends come over after school or on the weekends. We mainly just arrive, talk a bit, then get the rabbits out and let them hop over a few little jumps to warm up. Then I'll set up the course, put my rabbit away, get out a timer and start judging.
Judging is easy. What I find the easiest to do is write up a rules sheet before anyone arrives. Set a time limit for the round, a number of penalties that occur if a rabbit knocks down a jump, or goes off course. Then just watch, and mark when the rabbit gets a penalty. I usually also time the rounds.

Thanks guys!
Danay, how much points are faults worth? The way I had one set up for a competition, was that there was a certain amount of points they had to get. Each fault was 4 points, and the rabbit could only get placed if it's score was like 40 or something. So it would be like 30 out of 50, and they could only get a certain amount of faults. I can't do it that way with my friends though, because my rabbit will definitley win, hehe.
Mikoli, what type of things do you put on a rules sheet?
